No Hope for NHL Season

Published on December 11, 2012, by in Bruins, NHL.

The NHL has now canceled all games through December 30th, and I have completely lost hope that any hockey will be played this year.  The owners and players have trouble just talking to each other, let alone actually get a deal done.  We are already into 2013 before the first game could possibly be played, and

Hockey East Predictions: Week 4

Last Week: 7-3-0-0    Overall: 16-9-2-1 Solid bounce back week with a 7-3-0-0 mark for my picks. I was surprised by the fight that Huntsville gave Northeastern, I truly thought one of those games would be a double-digit goal game for the Huskies. My Warriors let me down big time, especially with a stunning loss to

NHL Cancels First Two Weeks of Season

Published on October 4, 2012, by in Bruins, NHL.

This is bad news for any hockey fan, the NHL announced today that all games up until October 24th have been cancelled.  This only adds to the frustrations of hockey fans everywhere, we just want to watch hockey.  The owners and players seem to be getting nowhere during negotiations and the future looks bleak right

NHL Season Unlikely to Start on Time

Published on September 22, 2012, by in NHL.

Unless something drastic happens in the next week, it is very unlikely that the NHL season will start on time.  Preseason games have already been cancelled, and shortly regular season games will be too.  The league is running out of time to get anything done.  Most of the players have already signed with a European

Bruins Play Caps not Sens

After a wild day of hockey yesterday, the Capitals jumped up to the number seven seed and will play the Bruins in the first round.  For the last month it looked like the Bruins would be playing the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the 2012 playoffs, but after Ottawa’s loss yesterday and wins

Ottawa Is the Perfect Matchup For Bruins

The Bruins should handle Ottawa fairly easily in the first round of the playoffs. The Bruins could not have asked for a better first round matchup than the Ottawa Senators.  Boston has owned Ottawa this year winning five out of their six games against each other.  Ottawa

Get Pumped

Published on March 4, 2012, by in Bruins, NHL.

The Boston Bruins head to New York today to face off with the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.  Everyone in New England should be jacked up for this one versus two matchup.  The last time these teams met, the Bruins laid and egg, and got embarrassed at home 3-0.  Don’t expect that to happen again.
