ESPN is reporting that the Boston Bruins have signed goalie Tuukka Rask to a one year deal worth $3.5 million. Rask will likely start for the Bruins this season with the absense of Tim Thomas. This is a good move for now, but the team really needs to get Tuukka signed long term. He is the goalie of the future and he needs to be locked up for five or six years. We will see how he performs as the starter this year and hopefully he is a Bruin for many years to come.
