Timmy Wakefield spent 17 of his 19 MLB seasons in a Sox uniform, becoming as familiar a face in the clubhouse as Johnny Pesky. It won’t be the same watching this Sox season go by without the appearance of never-aging knuckleballer Tim Wakefield on the mound.  Having retired a little over a week ago on Friday, February 17th, Wakefield leaves
